HIV/AIDS Risk Reduction Education
The education program is concerned with raising HIV/AIDS awareness, prevention and social concern. HIV/AIDS Risk Reduction education sessions consist of HIV/AIDS/STD 101 and Prevention skills.
HIV/AIDS Risk Reduction Education presentations are available to schools, churches, drug treatment facilities, youth groups and any other groups interested in education sessions. If you would like to schedule an HIV/AIDS Risk Reduction Education presentation, please contact Stephanie at 574-234-2870 ex 30.
Information relating to HIV infection and transmission, as well as crisis intervention, is also available to the general public Monday to Friday, 8:30a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The education program is also available for health fairs and community events and plan awareness events for HIV holidays such as National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, National Women & Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, National HIV Testing Day, and World AIDS Day.
We also provide information on: Risk behaviors in transmission, reading materials and videos relevant to HIV/AIDS, and articles/materials regarding HIV drug therapies.
Remember that prevention is the key to ending this disease!
